Here a few highlights

NashFilm

  • An annual 10-day celebration of film, the people who make it, and the people it represents. NashFilm is a is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that hosts an annual festival which:

    • Hosted A-list celebrities including MCD, Stephen Tyler, Jane Seymour, Famke Janssen, and more.

    • Launched the second VR competition / exhibition in the nation … by a month.

    • Launched it’s Pitch Competition to create opportunity for screenwriters to pitch their work to buyers

    • Crossed cultures with an international feature including Kurdish & Chinese cinema & cultural celebrations

    • Hosted the Creator’s Conference during the final weekend of the festival

    • Sold ~40K tickets and engaged +30 sponsors.

  • Oversaw full festival operations including sponsor fulfillment, Creator’s Conference, Box Office, Pitch Competition, VR Competition, website management, email newsletter, and more.

FW Publishing

  • Each year, our events team planned +25 events and promotions across the company’s family of publications. This included:

    • Margarita Festival - evening where restaurants competed for the best recipe

    • Crafty Bastards Arts & Crafts Fair

    • In Charge - issue release party

    • Burger Week - promotional week to name best burger

    • Movies in the Park - free family fun

    • Best of Nashville - voting + festival + party

    • and quite a bit more

  • My was directly responsible for:

    • Margarita Festival - planning, promotion, + sponsor fulfillment

    • Crafty Bastards Arts & Crafts Fair - planning, promotion, + sponsor fulfillment of spring & fall fairs

    • In Charge - planning, invitations, + sponsor fulfillment

    • Burger Week - full management of promotion

    • Movies in the Park - Outdoor screen + securing movie rights

    • Best of Nashville - voting management and event lead support

    • and support for the rest

Tomato Arts Festival

  • "Bringing together fruits & vegetables! ......"A uniter, not a divider!"

    A community builder, the Tomato Art Fest has steadily drawn larger crowds with each year that passes. In 2022, an estimated 55,000 came to celebrate this beloved fruit/vegetable and enjoy the day’s festivities.

    Touted in the Oxford American, and Southern Living, The Tomato Art Fest was voted “Best Festival” in the 2007, 2008, and 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015 Nashville Scene Reader’s Polls. (!!! thank you!)

  • Parade management, vendor load-in support, and contest stage management

Nashville Jr. Chamber

  • Founded in 1921, the NJC is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that stands firm on it’s core purpose of developing it’s members both personally and professionally. They are individuals who take the initiative to grow by making new connections and giving back to the community.

  • Coordinated a variety of networking mixers, the centennial Gala, and crossover events with partner orgs

AMA Nashville

  • AMA Nashville is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that represents a group of intelligent, savvy marketers who enjoy furthering their discipline, exchanging leading-edge ideas, and inspiring one another to connect & grow.

  • Coordinated 5 mixers while launching the Young Professionals department.

Private Whiskey Tasting

  • This was a highly intentional event designed to help grow business. The salesperson sponsors the event as a means to deepen relationships with high value referral partners or clients.

  • Fully planned and executed event concept. Apart from input for the guest list, this is a turnkey concept that the sponsor gets to enjoy hosting the event without any need to hassle with logistics.
